So you have aftermarket fog lights? Or you bought the stock ones and installed them yourself? I am confused.

Well the main advantage is how much more visibility you get on the road. I believe there are a few install threads on here if you do a search.

What is the advantage of going with the 50W option?

It is just an option for those that use their trucks mainly off road. I don't recommend it for on road use only since it will most likely blind oncoming traffic.

Has anyone tried the 3000K for the fog? I am not sure if I should go with a 3000K or the 6000K for the fog lights. I like the 3000K yellow but not sure how it would look on my Taco.

I really like the 6k/3k combo - that blue and yellow I think is real sharp lookin - from what i've seen on other cars; and thats where my question comes in: will the 3k fogs from this group buy flush out the blue/white from the headlights? or will it just be yellow right in front of the truck and that beautiful bluish headlight. I don't have projectors, it'll all just be straight plug and play with what I get from the group buy - if any of you'll have this setup please chime, in i'm interested to know what you think!

Subscribed, I have a 6000K projector retrofit and want to convert my fogs to HIDs and was wondering the same thing. I am torn between doing 3000K and 4300K in the fogs.

G-Sak I love the cut off you have with your retrofit! I've seen other guys with a similiar headlight housing - the smoked looked. Did you order that somewhere or do it yourself? I'm wondering 'cause I want the retrofit, but personally I don't like the smoked looked, I want it completely stock looking. So I was wondering if they had that housing for sale (if you bought it somewhere..)

If any of you guys/gals out there know where I can get something like what I'm talking about, please speak up! Thanks!

I dont think I was clear in my question about the 6k/3k headlight/fog combo.. let me try and reword it:

When the fogs are on, do they run into the light pattern of the headlights? Or are the fogs just in front of the truck with light from the headlights still clear in front... I'm debating whether or not to get 3k fogs with my 6k headlights, I dont want to drive around with green light!

    Thanks again you'll!

I am thinking about doing the 50w 6000K slim bixenon for the normal driving lights and the 3000K Yellow for the fogs. Anyone have the 50W 6000K Bixenon over the 35W 6000K for the driving because I really like the extra brightness but don't want to blind every oncoming car? I think then with this setup that the fogs won't drown out the look. Yellow fogs can be somewhat overpowering.

BTW..I just saw a silverado tonight and he had 8000K driving and fog and the light didn't have a huge blue hue...not bad looking IMO.

Well it depends on your aftermarket fogs. Do you know what bulb size they take? Most likely it would probably be best if you had the stock housings. I am not sure how small your aftermarket ones are and if they would handle the new HID's.
