If it's a bulbs only order are they the same manufacturer? I ordered the 3k fogs on the last one, but I think I'd like to have a set of 4300 fog bulbs to match the heads.

Same manufacturer. So you can order a set of bulbs only and they will be interchangeable. :)

What is the difference between the slim digital and the normal ballasts? They have the same temps, so is there a big difference in the output? Thanks!

The regular ballast is kind of the "old school" design. The new slim ballast is a more reliable, smaller, lighter, better design. It's like buying a brand new Nokia cell phone or buying a brand new iPhone. The iphone is a better phone but both still work the same. :)

You should print up some "TO: Me FROM: Me" cards to enclose with the packages. I always manage to have some of those on hand around Christmas. :p

I believe there was a member on here that had the similar setup and went HID. The difference was night and day for him. I forgot who it was but maybe post a thread asking if anyone has swapped the silverstars for HID's. The 43k are going to be a touch brighter than the 6k but both will be brighter than the silverstars. The difference from halogen to HID is big.
