got mine installed today, waiting for dark to see how they do, both seem to work fine but one ballast seems to whine and one doesn't on warm up. I had heard that whining may happen, is it ok that one does and one doesn't?

    Thanks Slim!

The ballasts should hum at startup and then fades away.

I installed mine today and all went well except for the rubber boots.....I couldn't get it back on because of the metal shielding. I eventually got frustrated and cut a slit into the boot to get it in. I then read that the metal shield can come off....Do I have to buy another boot? Or am I ok? I don't want any condensation building up in there. Should I buy new boots?

i have just completed my install of 6k hi/lo

i have three sets of hid's.

    On my bike,car,and now Taco.

All three sets have difference in color.

The ddm i have in my 97 altima are the bluest.

The JDM straight from japan kit i have in my cbr1000rr is kinda purplish blueish whitesh all together. That kit is SICK!

The slim kit i just installed in my Taco is the less blueish of them all and im totally diggn them thanks alot Paul !!!!!!!

FYI - I am in the process of building my company website for direct sales of my HID kits for those that don't like to wait for the group buys. They will be a touch more expensive but I will still be doing group buys here and there. :)

Also, I will be posting coupons for you guys to get GB prices on the site as well as other cool promos. There will be giveaways for an extra pair of bulbs etc. This all can be at your fingertips if you follow me on facebook. Below is the link to the facebook page and also the link to the upcoming website.

Like Me! :) - Future website url - My HID Website Link!

Got the headlights installed, but still need to get all the ballasts and wires fixed up out of the way. Im really digging the hi/low bulbs. Going to install the fogs when its not raining and blowing 25mph winds out.

Edit: here are the headlights in action
