The regular ballasts come with brackets with one side drilled for screw holes. The slim ballasts come predrilled both sides for screw holes. There useful for mounting with screws. But you don't need to use the holes if you use zip ties.

    See sig.....
Yep. That was me. I have since moved the ballasts from that location due to them coming undone from the velcro multiple times. (When it gets wet, it loses it's adherance definitely). I still use heavy duty industrial velcro, but I have moved them to the subframe engine tray just below those locations. No issues with slippage so far since gravity is working to hold them in place now, not the opposite. :)

Ya I was worried about that. I think I'm gonna skip the velcro and go with screws or zip ties and just find the room for em. Maybe using some caulking to seal them up good and then they can go in the elements.

    Hey Slim,
I just did a retrofit and got the Philips 85122+ bulbs and was wondering which bulbs you have that would match them. I'm thinking about getting one of your kits for my fogs.

    Thanks in advanced,
    Bryan

Hi Bryan, you will want the low beam D2S kit for your headlights and the H10 low kit for your fogs. :)

If you click the link on the first post you'll see pictures of the bulbs etc lit up.

They are already waterproof/freezeproof but if you wanted to silicone the ballasts that wouldn't hurt.
