Found a pic of the light bar mount I bought here in a group buy many years ago. The bracket mounted using the existing mounting brakets at the top, and at the center support. The bracket mounting holes are slotted to allow for adjutment up and down. This bracket is rock solid and has been in my truck since about 2009. Pay no attention to those Hella Supertone horns. They were horrible and went into the trash. I'm now using the 4-note Cadillac horns.

If you are looking to save money and just light up the whole neighborhood, here's what I purchased:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0752ZF8J7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This thing is bright and the brackets install with ease. You can also adjust the angle of the bar a bit better since it mounts a bit differently to the brackets. I am overall happy with this bar. Also have some switches that I ordered from DHgate which I am going to try out with this bar. Currently using that nasty OEM one it comes with.

I think lights are like buying suspension buy once or buy China cheap and kick yourself when it fails as most of that Alibaba crap does, not really cheaper in the long run IMO.

I disagree. There are certain types of products that I would definitely not buy from Alibaba/DHgate/china. You can just do some research and find out that most of these companies that are selling you these "high quality" products, are just buying them in bulk from manufacturers overseas and giving you a better warranty.

I could not agree more, I believe there are people on here doing exactly what you described above ¥ and yes with a little research you can find the exact same China made product that they are selling minus the slightly better warranty and other additional stuff they have added.
But in the case of Diode Dynamics and a few other high end brands the product is designed and manufactured in the US and believe me there is a difference in quality.
They also offer a crazy Long warranty for lighting product and in-house support so buying from them is a double win.
    Again IMO.

Yes with the provided link you can build out your lighting kit and add the light bar into it!

I broke lower grill. I see you cut yours with hidden light bracket. Thinking might do same. I think looks better your way vs behind the plastic grill. Assume you cut the tabs off bumper so light bar flush with plastic? Any info is appreciated.

My father once told me that "If it seems to good to be true, it probably is." Trust me, in over 40 years of playing with upgraded vehicle lighting, I have always found that you get what you pay for. Some stuff that looked great in the ad great arrives looking like crap. Some stuff that starts out bright, fails in pretty short order. Some stuff that claims to be water resistant looks like an aquarium in a year or two. Get my drift?

It was worth it and very easy to do. The light was better than my current setup. I crashed thru some ice that tore up my plastic bumper and went with Victory 4x4 strike bumper now with small LED light bar.
