I dont mind sharing the measurements and such, I just dont have the time to take it apart now that Im working three jobs. If someone in the SoCal area would like to take it apart and measure for TW, then they are more than welcome to take my truck apart.

i could but few factors come into play, people winching greater than the capacity of the piece -i really have no way of checking actual capacity although, I have pulled myself from sand where half my wheels were buried and the undercarriage partially sunk as well. Ive pulled myself from mud from an incline.

its made with 3/8 thick steel plate, square tubing etc. To me its strong but I would assume that it is up to the user to determine strength and capabilities of the piece as well as how well it is welded onto the frame.

So two factors: Although I would like to make some money, I dont want to be liable for improper installation tearing the front of your truck off. Secondly, time is difficult to come by these days.

I guess I could make them, but they would require significant skill from the buyer to install. The basic mount itself, I could make for about 150-200 dollars. To position the mount properly would be the buyer's responsibility; it takes careful measuring, cutting of plastic, ARC welding, etc.

In other words, its not bolt on. But lemme talk to my bro and see if hes up to the challenge. If we can get a list of interested people going, then maybe it'll be worth the time to take my truck apart and fabricate a bunch of these mounts. If we make a user-friendly winch mount, the cost would be around $400-$500 -userfriendly meaning that we'd measure everything and all you have to do is weld it on.

Alright folks, my bro and I decided we can build these for people as well as supply the Smitty Bilt xrc8 winch.

The cost would be $450 for the mount and $300 for the winch. Buyer pays shipping. We can install for local buyers as well. If we can get the first group of 10 going, then we can start building them.

Just indicate if you want to get the winch as well.

Nice work. I wouldn't weld it on to my chassis, but that's the only change I would make. Nice and clean install. Kudos for that.

i could make a bolt on design as well. In my opinion, welding it is the best way to attach it to the truck, its going to pull a lot of weight -strength is key.

If I have a winch, I don't want to hide it. I want to show it off like candy. Nice idea though.
