I went from kragens behind the grill to kragens on front bumper and didn't notice a big difference, nothing worth worrying about wasting mucho denaro on!

Also, with only two lamps, I didn't feel bad at all about simply switching them on automatically on the high-beam switch.

I powered them on a new dedicated battery circuit switched via a relay activated on the driver side high beam.

With four lamps, I would have felt the need to add a separate switch in the cab.

I agree, four on automatically would piss off a cop for sure.

I have the BDF grill, that Timsxr made, and it doesn't block that much light at all. Larger openings help. And I have not had any temp issues, live in southern california.

I've got the mesh with the smallest holes from Homer, I was always curious about this. I've always kinda thought its similar to looking through a pair of binoculars and putting a mesh between you and what you're looking at. You'll definitely still be able to see quite well.

I didnt have a problem with light loss on mine. Just increased to 55w HID kits and can notice a huge difference. You can see in my signature pic.

If your mesh is 70% open space you lose 30% output... its simple math.
