My headlights are weird I was wondering if anyone has had this happen to them or can help me figure out what I should do.

So when I turn on my headlights the driver's side headlight is the normal brightness and the passenger's side headlight is on high beam. When I turn high beam the driver's side headlight is on high beam and the passenger's side headlight is the normal brightness/low beam.

P.S.all attached photos we took before I resurfaced my headlights

what electrical work have you done to your truck lately? I'd start there and see if something got swapped
damage relay would be my second check point

should be 3 prongs on the back, recheck those connections and re-seat them. move the wire with your fingers in each mode to see if they revert due to any short.

I have recheck the connections and re-seat the light bulbs and that hasn't helped

Get rid of them cheap led/hid you got there and buy halogen bulb. That's probably your issue.

The bulbs are 2 months old and are fine. I think the wiring is messed up but I don't know how to even test to see if the wiring is a problem. Does any know what each of the 3 wires that connect to the bulb does (which one controls the High beam)?

    google is your friend
best image I could quick find [IMG]
you have a 1st Gen so Grd is actual +12V and the low and high are connected to ground through relays (known as Ground Switching)
If the headlights were working correctly and now are not with no other work beening don then Relays would be my first guess
If you can not confirm that the headlights were working correctly before the LEDs then I highly suspect that one of the LEDs is built incorrectly (other that the focal point problem they all have)

Thank you for that, the image is not loading. Also, I don't have LED. I know very little about wiring.

    google H4 connector pinout
sorry I thought I read that you put LED headlamp bulbs in (so many threads on that topic it blurs together)

you need a multi-meter with continuity and or resistance mode(s)
on the bulb the Ground pin to ether Low or High should each have continuity and a resistance value of a few hundred Ohms
on the harness side when in Low mode there should be continuity but very little resistance (less than 5 Ohms) between the connector contact and the negative terminal on the battery and no continuity from the High contact to the neg terminal
for high beams the invers would be the proper condition
