    Hello All,

Is it possible to have the high beams and the fog lights at the same time?

On my vehicle when i have the high beams off the fog lights turn off.

**ive tried searching, the search function on this forum is very poor and returns unrelated articles probably due to searching peoples signatures.

***Google search also returned no results.

    Hi,

You can actually mod the fog lights to keep them on with your high beams, depending on what kind of truck you have.

What type of truck do you have, year and so forth?

Link in my sig is one easy way to keep the fog lights on w/your high beams. At least I think that's what you want since your description is a little confusing.

Search "fog light anytime mod". This mod will allow you to turn on your fog lights while your high-beams are on.

Fog light anytime mod will let you turn your fogs lights on... well... anytime. What he's describing is exactly what my version is: keeps the fogs from powering off when the high beams are on. They behave identical to factory otherwise.

check the link in my signature for my foglight any time mod.

If you want them to turn on and off with headlights but stay on with high beams look at the variation in post 39 of the same thread.

    You can't.

3rd gen fogs are ECU controlled.

Meaning it can't be changed? Or wired to run independent? Thanks for the help

Just going off information others have posted.

Anything can be re-wired, but as far as converting it like the second gen trucks - no dice, re-wiring to a switch seems to be the only option.

Can be changed, but is more technical than the 2nd gens considering it's controlled by the ECU.
