    This is just mind blowing...

    That is approximately :

    1833 posts per month

    458 posts per week

    65 posts per day

If you were my child I would kick you out the front door and lock it behind you and tell you not to come home until the street lights come on :D

I am out of town for the week but will take pictures this weekend. I have a feeling its the tranny or the exhaust sounds to rigid to be the mud flaps. I hope it is though would save me the extra bucks.

Have to agree PERFECT example of why I should lift the truck. Not sure what it does to the waranty on the truck though my only concern that and the $$$$$'s

I live just outside of Vancouver BC and for lack of a better term on the side of a mountain. On my street the road is fairly level but the houses on the north side of the street are up an insanely steep driveway, and the houses on the south side are on a insanely steep driveway down. Houses on the north side look directly over our house and have a spectacular view, south side backs onto a greenbelt (protected forest) full of trails for hiking, mountain biking, etc. one of the many reasons why we bought on the south side.

As for the garage itself its a covered parking spot (carport), thought it would just be easier to call it my garage avoid confusion. As for drainage we have a French drain across the whole front of the garage with an overflow drain in the carport itself. All the city sanitary and sewer lines are below us so we don't have to pump up to street which is a MAJOR plus.

yeah i was gonna say, do you have other vehicles going in and out of said driveway..... cus most vehicles dont have the stock ground clearance that the taco has. Would be really shitty if you were a colorado driver.... would be dragging your front skirt and spare tire... hell my GF's rav 4 has more clearance than the new colorado. hahaha

That's the funniest part of the street I live on. The people with driveways that go up into some people can get there SUV's up to park in their garages. If they have a truck they can't because the garages are to shallow and if they have a car they park it on the street. As for the downhill side most people park either on the street or have bigger with clearance.

My wife drives a Mazda 3 which in no way can make it down the driveway. Which is nice for me.....

This thread has gotten a little stale.

I checked and it's just the mud flaps truck has PLENTY of clearance. never noticed how low the flaps were until recently, only inches of clearance. I have looked at removing the flaps all together but worry about rocks just obliterating my panels without them. Drive loose gravel roads at least 3-4 times a week with work.

Is there a flap with more clearance available on the aftermarket haven't been able to find one. May just have to take out the dremel and make my own? any suggestions of what other owners have done?

In the meantime I have been just living with the scrapping noise as I enter and exit my driveway.
