High Clearance Rear Bumper Compatible with BSM

Does any one make a high clearance rear bumper that is compatible for a 3rd Gen with blind side monitoring? It may not be possible because if so I’m sure one our talented fabricating vendors would have already had one on the market...

C4 does make a non high clearance that works.

Yeah I have one but I think they discontinued it . Or so I've been told. I tried looking afterwards and couldn't find it on there site.

No one will make a BSM compatible high clearance bumper. The BSM defeats the purpose of high clearance. It requires plastic and the BSM is huge.

You are better off waiting for Toyota to redesign their BSM and that won’t happen any time soon.

 

Steel anywhere near the sensor is going to render it useless... hence no one is trying.

Only hope I see is if Toyota or some mod expert (@mesojdm) can relocate it to the taillight... like Ford. But for the love of God, please don't put the BSM logo/ad on the lens like Ford did.

 

I was hoping for this too but looking at the sensor and the way the HC's are designed it wouldn't work. Wonder if a sensor from another model toyota could work?

The top one is relentless fab, middle is a c4.

 

Mount the BSMs on the outside of the Bumper and camo them with cool bumper stickers
