Ok so two days ago I started my 2005 Trd OR and the idle shot up to about 1800 and stayed there without dropping back down even after the truck has warmed up. I have tried to turn the truck off and still is running like this. The idle acts like it is gonna come down but will shoot back up to 1800. My truck has a Manual tranny and the V6, I cant seem to figure out what to do about this problem so any advise would really help.

Start looking for loose or disconnected vac lines

My truck came with a stupid ass unichip plug and play on it and I had heard that it could alter idling and basically make your truck run like shit. So I did what you said and checked all vac lines but then after that failed to solve the issue I just ripped the pos chip out and plugged in my factory harness. Now she runs good as new. Thanks again for the advise though.
