Folks: New Tacoma Owner. Just bought a 2015 Double Cab Long Bed with the 4 liter V6. On cold start up the engine revs to 1500 RPM and doesnt step down until I put it in gear. My past vehicles would normally rev to about 1200 rpms but step down quickly. Just wondering if this is normal for that Tacoma V6 or something I should return to the dealer about. Thx AJ

Mine does it as well, on cold starts I think it revs a little higher during initial warm up. It drops back to normal after several minutes if you let it sit and warm up.
