Just looking to see if this is normal. Slap my truck into park and the RPM goes from 500-750 up to 1000-1200, not an issue by just looking at it. But dropping into drive or reverse from park results into a sharp RPM drop which causes the truck to lurch a little. Is this normal or should I have the dealer look at it? Been driving stick for the last 6 years so not sure if this is just an auto thing or not, truck is a 2021 SR V6 4x4.

Auto temp is on set for 68° usually doesn't kick fan on until engine warms up a bit, but it could be on super low and I don't realize or it could be fighting to warm up quicker.
