The BRITE BOX™ is a self contained device that greatly contributes to driving
safety on dark roads by improving both the output and coverage of your vehicle headlights.

All vehicle headlights have two distinct beam patterns: low beam for close range illumination, and high beam for long range illumination. In most vehicles, when the high beams are activated, the low beams shut off. The resulting choice of "near" vs. "far" illumination compromises safety and comfort because at a maximum, only 54% of the vehicle's lighting potential is being used at any given time. Installing brighter headlight bulbs does little to help because the coverage of the headlights is still compromised. Additionally, if your vehicle has factory installed fog lights, they too shut off when high beams are engaged. How does one solve this problem?

Enter the BRITE BOX™. Brite Box illuminates the low beams (and fog lights/driving lights/offroad lights with Fog Light Control models) when the high beams are activated which allows 100% of the lighting potential of the vehicle to be utilized. Brite Box provides an even carpet of light that stretches from near to far. Safety and comfort are improved because the driver can now see a larger portion of the road. The safety benefits and circuitry of Brite Box has been proven in millions of miles of over the road testing, and is used by law enforcement and transportation companies.

Brite Box features easy plug in installation (in most vehicles) and can usually be installed in 30 minutes or less. There are Brite Box models available to fit most domestic cars, light trucks, and sport utility vehicles (SUV's) manufactured from 1976 - 2008.

This seems like a nice product for someone afraid of touching there vehicle, but you can do this with about $1 in wire splicers, and wire.

About 10 years ago I had the "Brite box" on my 98 Dodge Ram and it did a really good job. It turns both elements of a dual element headlight bulb on when turned to high. Wouldn't do me any good on my Tacoma, since I went with Bi-Xenon retrofits and did the foglight on with parklamps mod, however.

Only issue with this on the Tacoma, is that both high/low filaments share a bulb capsule. Running both at the same time will heat it up pretty hot, and could cause them to burn out quicker. This works well on vehicles that have independant high/low bulbs or housings.

The bulbs are built for Flash to Pass. Sylvania says that the bulbs are over-built for that reason. These systems have been in use since 1996, and they have never had any bulb issues. We have had great success running these boxes.

Yes and you don't need a brite box to do so. Search Fog Light Anytime Mod, it should be under the "Cheap/Free Mods" section under the 2nd Gen forum.
