High-mileage 1st gen Tacomas

for the 5VZFE engine, has anybody out there had the cause to check into the valves clearance for proper spec and adjustments as needed?

i read chatter about this but never had ....

 

pulled into a BP station around midnight for a fresh tank of taco juice in Tennessee right at 1/3rd million miles

 

I have only 178,000 on my ‘02 Tacoma. However, I put 300,000 miles on my 1978 Pickup. I parked it in 1999 because the body was falling apart, but the engine was still going strong.
