Trying to make a decision if I want to go ahead and buy this truck or wait and maybe come across a better deal with lower miles. The truck is a 2004 black double cab 4wd tacoma. The body and interior is extremely clean. (One of the cleanest I've seen this age) They said they've replaced the water pump and timing belt. I also seen in the pics it had a new driveshaft. (I dont know the story behind it). The truck has 245000 miles. They are asking 10k. Is the truck worth that? Was going to try talking them down to 8 or 9 if it's worth it. Just needing advice before it slips away. I don't want to get into something that's going to be breaking down on the way home. The small dealership it is at I have read good reviews and bad reviews about their repairs on other vehicles. Also any common problems with these trucks at high mileage? Easy to fix and get parts? Thanks.

245k here myself. No major issues. Just maint. and general wear items. Tbelt and water pump about 100-125k service. Easy to work on and find parts. OEM parts are your best bet. Common problems? Frame rust and sagging rear springs. Inspect the frame really good for rust. Lower ball joints if you 4wheel it a lot, use OEM ones the last a lot longer. Id have them check lower ball joints, any movement above 0.5mm they should be replaced. If its as clean as you say 10k is a good price for 4x4
