so the bottom line would be he dressed his truck up with aftermarket junklights and blew 3 DRLs in the process and wants to implicate some sort of design flaw with the DRLs since theres no way in hell it was aftermarket junk electronics that would to that o_O and the Toyota Dealer is supposed to play circle jerk with him and replace any DRL light that gets blown on their dime, good luck with that one. By the way Toyota dealers can deny any warranty or coverage on a vehicle they want that doesn't have approved TRD Toyota aftermarket parts, he still hasn't proved it had anything to do with the trucks Electronics or design just implications and hear say.

Disclaimer: I believe that Toyota's diagnosis is nonsense and there is no way that the Baja Designs lights or any other aftermarket parts on the truck are causing this failure.

Background (I don't think I'm missing anything and have been as accurate as possible since I'm sure Toyota is watching:rofl:

Its almost like hundreds of people run aftermarket lights without issue, and the one guy that runs into a problem wants to find a solution? Weird.

its not about finding a solution, its about sticking the bill to Toyota for 3 burnt out DRLs due to the proven fact it was his own need to use aftermarket junk lights that have been verified twice by Toyota dealer to have caused the DRL burnouts, in reality he should be blaming Baja designs for selling crap lights,in his own words state quote and there is no way that the Baja Designs lights or any other aftermarket parts on the truck are causing this failure. and this is based on what facts?

I must of been reading a different thread cause I'm pretty sure he had no issue paying out of his pocket as long as the problem was resolved, going as far saying baja designs sells junk lights and blaming their product for the fault is a little ridiculous but to each their own.

My 2017 Pro has the factory rigid line fogs on it and they are useless. Not sure if that's the same as what you are speaking of.

2 tests were performed, 2 tests proved that aftermarket lights were the reason for DRLs failed, it was never about a problem resolved its about trying to pull the wool over someones eyes to try and recoup costs by fabricating a electrical design issue to use a warranty to pay for broken lights and it failed

I'll give them a little love.. I've got their 32" hidden light bar combo. It was on my 16 Tacoma that I totalled 3 weeks ago after being smashed between an F250 and a Kia on the interstate. Even with all the damaged the whole kit came out as good as new and is now on my new Taco.
