ok so i've searched for this and it kind of goes along the lines of the VSC kicking it at random times but the lights don't go off on the dash nor does the solenoid kick in like if you lose traction. happens when turning at more then 15 MPH and up. any ideas?

both, kind of kicks in when you start to turn the wheel, like as soon as the truck starts to tilt in the turn.

Mine does that same thing. If you hit the brakes when it does that sound, they will be a bit more sensitive.

idk if we've got similar issues but my 1st Gen. does the exact same thing. but usually at the same round-about turn on my campus. weird

I get the exact same noise when I'm going a little too fast on circular exit ramps. It seems the high-pitched noise comes when the momentum of the truck kinda makes you lean in your seat to the outside of the turn.

No lights on the dash display in conjunction with it. So I know it's not the LSD doing a engine brake.

I'm guessing it's something electrical making sure you don't flip the truck. I'd like an answer if anyone has any actual insight.

Haven't found any answers when I searched so I'm resurrecting. :dancingbacon: (dancing bacon has nothing to do with this post, just liked the way he moved)

I noticed this the past couple days when I'm making a turn I can hear this very faint whistle. It's more like a very distant siren. I'm pretty sure it's coming from the front end. Anyone else notice this? You got to turn the radio off and make a turn going fast than 10-15 mph. The OP thinks its the VSC, and I'm thinking he's right.

Its the vsc doing its thing. The brakes are more sensitive when it makes the noise. Kinda like a brake booster.
