High pitched whine from 2024 SR5 with 4cyl turbo

Anybody else notice a high pitched noise that winds down in a few seconds when you stop the truck, leave the engine running and open the door. Doesn't happen all the time but not a noise I am used to hearing from an engine.

 

Have owned mine for three weeks and heard the whine on a couple of occasions.

 

I hear a periodic release type noise when I stop. It’s a sound that I have never heard before and have difficulty explaining. I think I’m hearing it when I turn the truck off, however. Is that similar to what you’re hearing? I have a 2024 Sport.

 

It is either the turbo or the auto parking break. I would imagine that most here are familiar with the sound that the turbo makes, so my guess is the auto p-brake.

ive heard my parking brake after the vehicle is off, doors closed, been off for a few minutes, it will what im assuming is re-adjusting & applying more pressure maybe...
im not concerened

 

x3 (or 4?) that it's the electronic parking brake
