So I have been having this problem for about a week now, when I turn on my truck sometimes it idles with high rpm’s. when I put it in drive I can hear the high rpm’s, even putting it in neutral it still there and when I put it back into drive it like jerk like if the truck wants to take off. Sometimes the idle goes back to normal while I’m driving or station. I kinda haul stuff too so idk if me using the O/d has anything to do with it but I’m not sure what it could be I would want to confirm before buying parts or sending it off to someone, anything will help guys thank you

Took the throttle body position sensor out and it’s looks way back compared to the actual sensor

Is it supposed to be like this? Or am I tripping, that pic I post first the black thing won’t move unless it do but i didn’t apply much pressure on it

Edit: so found out it do move when the throttle is turned so does that mean the throttle sensor went bad?
