    They exist. 5.3L V8 colorado.

No their not manual, not many V8 trucks are, but they have a 4L60E in the Colorado.. it's a Chevrolet transmission their plentiful and just as much support, no wait more support for them than the toyota transmissions. Why, bc like I said their plentiful and most people going automatic in the offroad 4x4 world build using Chevrolet stuff.

There's no reliability problems with the superchargers, if set up properly.
One guy has over 500k on his with a supercharger.

I've read that the 2nd gen superchargers had a lot more reliability issues, which puts me off from buying it.

Your referring to the 4.0 supercharger? Cuz I have no idea about those. I was talking about 3.4 S/c

Yeah the 2nd gen 3.4 S/C is easier to maintain then the gray, and I have heard nothing but positives for both 1st and 2nd gen S/Cs. As noted, one guy put 500K on his and is still driving it, granted, he had it rebuilt once or twice.

well damn son, why are you asking about making the truck a drifter or whatever??

Drive the Camaro to school on Tuesdays, Thursdays and every other Friday. Drive the truck the other days.

Just be sure to wear the appropriate sized belt buckle.
