FOX IFP front 2nd clip 1/2" spacer, FOX 2.0 adjustable resi rear, RXT leaf pack, SSO slimline front w/ baricade 9500lb and amber light bar, ARE Cap, allpro steps, TRD pro style wheels w/ Kenda Klevar skins
I have a daily driver 3rd gen, getting a 2nd gen as a play toy form a family member.
My first gen taco I had fabtech coilovers that I think were made by Fox?? that would absorb curbs and speed bumps like they didnt exist with no other modifications to the truck but still handled factory with a touch more body roll. I was extremely hard on that truck as a college age idiot.
I have fox 2.0 with resi on my 3rd gen and they are much more harsh than my old fabtech setup (maybe with a retune when due) but that's not why I got them for the daily driver.

My question, is there an out of the box setup that can soak up speedbump size hits like they arent there? Im not going to LT it, only want something to fly around in until my oldest is driving age, then Ill hand it down.

Oh there will be some mods all right
I was running Bilstein 6112s with Wheeler's superbumps on my 3rd Gen with the sway bar removed and speedbumps were reduced to atoms.

Have you tried any other bumps? I was looking at accutunes bump stops but people really recommend wheelers super bumps and they’re cheaper

In the front I've only ran wheelers on multiple vehicles and have loved them on each vehicle and will continue to run them on the front whenever possible. In the back I gave Wheeler's a shot twice and both times were terrible. Never again lol.
