I had a physics teacher that talked about voltage like potential energy from a height about the earth - the larger the voltage the higher is something off of the ground so it has more potential energy waiting to be turned into kinetic energy while falling back to earth. Current could be like flow in a river usually measured by cubic feet per second (cfs) that passes through a given plane at any moment.

So you could have a water drop fall from low earth orbit and it wouldn't hurt you when it landed on your head. I guess that would be a low current, high voltage scenario. Meanwhile a river dumping a 1000 cfs onto your head from 10 feet up might not feel too good. I guess that would be low voltage, high current.

A couple things with the CS144.

Go with a reman GM unit not a "new" aftermarket. The new Chinese knock offs have a bad rep for using low quality parts, both electrical and bearings. You have a "better" chance with a domestic rebuild.

For those that just can't let anything go unmodified, a 17mm bore, 4 groove 57mm fully machined pulley can be had.
If you are chronically affected, the adapter plug can be messed with. The Toyota end is fine but the wire size on the GM end is a little small for the holes in the rubber seal. Pop the pins and apply one layer of heat shrink and plug the empty 4th hole. Keep that water at bay.

is this a direct bolt on or do you have to add washers and such? If so where?
