    Sorry to deviate OP.

What do you think of the 2.7 living in Colorado?

I mean how does it do going up and down the passes? I would've considered a 2.7 if they still offered the manual and am curious how it performs at elevation.

Love it. It's no sports car but I didn't expect one. You can't climb the mountains like you had a V8 but if you bury your foot in the carpet you can pass most other vehicles on the same grade - so for me the performance is no different from anything else. I have adjusted my driving style to match the truck's capabilities.

46k miles but higher than that since its had larger tires almost its entire life. Manual 4wd just regular maintenance on it so far.

    56k! Love my 2.7 AT AC :D

Only thing was the H0G Recall and battery died around 50k miles. Firestone destinations wore out around 45k.

2016 AT 79K miles. Just scheduled oil changes, filters etc. Had the rear differential recall done, windshield replaced due to a rock. That's it.

I have driven over mountain passes many times both empty and loaded with camping gear. No problem maintaining the speed limit+, but I'm not doing a lot of passing on hills.

In addition to “normal” use have taken it from Abq, NM to Green Bay, WI and back 4 X. Normal maintenance. No problems. It’s a wonderful truck.
