Highest Mileage 3rd Gen

I bought mine on 11/6/2015 and have a whopping 2,997 miles so far. I'm on pace for a blistering 8,300 miles in a year.

 

Got mine in late September , have right at 20k on the odometer

 

Had mine for 1 month today, just crossed 400 miles. What are you guys doing to get 5k per month?!

 

driving for work, plus adventuring for me. my bro had an old thread i think in the 2nd gen about high mileage and repairs needed. i will probably do the same. i do over 1k a week. he used to do more. i got mine in oct. and i'm at almost 27k .

 

With that many miles in is there any remarks you have about then truck? Any issues for "long term" that you may share? Any vibration or buzz in that steering?

 

well. first i am an sr5 4x4 4banger auto ax-es cab. previous rides: some nissans, including a hard body "the Mexican princess" and the last new car that i bought was a subaru sti 03" and some vw's. i don't know if any of that matters but.. i really enjoy this truck. most of my mileage is highway, boring stuff but i was probably the guy that passed you with the bright head lights. haven't been able to even make the truck yawn at me with the 4x4 stuff i do. it just keeps on keeping on. snow and red clay up to now with stock tires has been a champ. only issues so far have been the hood vibration from glue unsticking and that is about it. only chatter i get is on the 4th tire rotation and is also variable, i think is probably coming from one of the tires that has what seems to be too much weight.

only other problems come from reading here to often and getting ghost leg syndrome of some possible quirk that my truck doesn't have.

I bought mine September 30th (so essentially October) and have a whopping 2300 miles on it.

 

Bought 10/31 and has 8039miles

 

No major issues at 20K. Only issue so far is that the dealer found the trans fluid low by just over half a quart during std. 5K maintenance.

I have gone thru one windshield and one tailgate. Tailgate was backed into while parked at Lowes, but I got lucky on the replacement when a local body shop found another silver tailgate from a totaled Tacoma with <1K miles.

 

About to hit 7k today most likely. Got it First week of December.

 

Seems like people are confusing mileage with high mileage.

 

Not sure if it's considered high but I bought 12/15 and broke 8k today. I average 30k or so a year

 

Hit the 5000 and 6000 mile mark on my trip to and from Tennessee from Michigan
