Highway "Whirring" Noise

If you read the long thread about it there is a TSB where they will put different rear springs, sound deadening material, and I believe a body mount or something and it will reduce it.

 

Herein lies the problem...new guy posts question. First response should be directing him to the appropriate thread.

Instead, we get the the same people posting the same thing for the umpteenth time.

 

Then you have another issue altogether. Post a sound clip, the drivetrain on these Tacomas is noisy.

That plus the combination of zillion howl posts has been known to play tricks with people's minds....

True story. when I had my truck re-geared the shop told me that someone came in with a print out of the howl mega thread, wringing his hands about having the howl at all speeds. Shop confirmed it was fucking tire noise.
