I would have to agree with you after looking at the internet pics. Are there any stats on how may people have fallen or been killed on that trail.

Nice Pics, I never realized that Washington would look like that. Awesome pics, they remind me of Colorado. Do you hunt up there, seems like there would be plenty of big Deer and Elk.

Gothic basin is one of my favorites! A beast of a hike, but the scenery is worth it! Never been up there early enough to see so much snow still there, so beautifull!!

    Thanks Ken :fistbump:

Yea I didn't even make it up to the upper part of the valley where Foggy Lake is. My hiking partner was whipped and didn't want to scramble on the snow. We'll go back when it's melted out so we can swim

This weekend I might be doing the Alpine High Route between east and west fork Foss River(s). Alltrails has it at 25 miles and 6,500 ft elev gain. That'll be a long day

Mt. Lemmon, "Rappel Rock" from the Lemmon Rock Lookout trail, Tucson, AZ.

I don't get out much in the daytime and when I do, my hands are usually full. I got this photo between rains. Monsoon season is in full swing and the only escape from the heat is at 8000 ft.

We didn't make the loop. Too hot and didn't start early enough. Still made it to Chetwoot Lake, 18 miles RT and 5,500 ft elevation

Did this same loop again but solo this time, hiking buddy had to bail last minute. Went a little farther and added a couple more lakes and about 4 miles for a total of 25 car to car. 8,000 ft climbing, took 11 hours

That's a nice flat trail. I need to hike somewhere other then the Sierra soon.

Hidden spot in the Sierra. 2 miles, 1000 ft gain. You go there to see the face. This thing is wild. You can only see it at certain times when the shadows make it pop. Second photo. It's original size so clicking it will make it larger. Taken with my Google 6. I really need to get someone out there with a decent camera to do it justice.
