    Having grass grow free-ly makes it a lot cheaper to raise them over there than here in AZ. I'll just start with chickens for the mean time :)

    Don't know much about chickens types yet. I'm a business sustainability major and really interested in urban farming. I cant do much at my apartment but i want to get my dads backyard started. I was thinking chickens because they are easy to feed, can fertilize the land and eggs are used for everything.

    I'm getting some Easter Eggers, for their variation in egg color, along with feather-footed types. Just because I like them, and it gets cold here. You should think about ducks too!

    I am happy to be back in Wisconsin where I have a bit more opportunity for having animals and such. Also had a nice garden this year. We need more space for what I want to do eventually though. :)
