lol true, he has a point, it's easy to push your truck past its limits with LT...I've almost done it a few times, and it's scary.

 

Ill be honest, my mom bought me my truck. It was more to her for me to be self sufficient than dependent. Course every one of my mods on my truck came outta my own pocket from working. You can definitely show independence even when being helped out every now and then. Everyone needs help every now and then

 

I rolled my lifted Ranger when I was 17 or 18. I thought I had a lot of experience then. Now that im 22. I realize I didnt know jack. lol

Back to topic. I say save for AP's. Little less travel. Not as wide. Retain stock fenders. Then do a beefed up midtravel in the rear.

Like I've said before, I know my limits and I know them well. I didn't take you saying I was being irresponsible. I agree with you in every aspect. You and everyone all know that we dont want to see that type thread either. I REALLY dont want to ruin my truck.

And yeah I looked at that kit too... I'll look more into it tomorrow.

 

Well, back to square one, My dad doesn't want to see a truck in pieces. Let alone my DD truck. and his money being thrown into the mix

Everything that you see I have put my own money into. Well My dad and I split down the middle on my tires, but still I can still call them mine and that I paid for them. And Every now and then my parents will throw in a few 10s or 20s to help out just because they know how much enthusiasm I have working on my truck.

 

That would be a little less noticable... I could still go on those tight trails with my friends and then have fun in the dirt when I want to. I'll definitely check them out. I just wish to be part of the Mid-Long Travel crew

 

Tell him that you are not out doing drugs or getting into trouble. Do you get good grades? Explain to him that your truck is your favorite hobby and it keeps you motivated. Maybe shed a tear or two and then slowly walk back to your room dragging your stuffed bunny.

Leave your truck stock, and get a project. Trust me on this one... I turned my dd into a project and it hasnt been driven in 9 months.

that right there is the reason why people are worried. every 16 year old thinks they know everything. you say everyone was 16 once right? well when i was 16 i totaled my 98 tacoma. the reason why everyone is saying what they are saying is because we were 16 once.

Damn son! I have to drop another 5hundo, just to finish my fuel system haha.. I have a disorder, you should get checked out too
