    It’s hard to tell without actually looking at it, but you may have bent a LCA and/or UCA and the spindle. If It were my truck, I would likely replace at least those three plus the tie rod end depending on what it looks like.
    I think it is better to go with all new parts in a critical system like that, just to be sure it’s safe going forward.

    Probably nothing. I throw my alignment and steering wheel off all the time offroading. The vehicle stability control auto disables hen the wheel is off center by about 45 degrees.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl::anonymous:

    I don't do that anymore :thumbsup:

    I'd take it to the dealer and hope that it's nothing more than alignment. Besides wheels buggered up.

    My money is on phone/distracted driving. OP fancies himself a gangster per his username. He was probably checking his "online street cred". Millennial logic hard at work. Pay attention when you're operating a two ton missile.

    I posted here recently about hitting pothole and when I came out my steering wheel was really jacked.
    Toytec here in Denver just did my lift and alignment so I called them and they got me in next day!:thumbsup:

    Turns out I had a bent spindle. They said it's usually this or bent tie rod ends (they keep them in stock). But it wasn't too bad, they were able to adjust alignment around it and accommodate. Cost me an hour and $100.

    Funny...I never considered going to the dealer!:rofl::spending:

    I'm assuming the OPs father found out. It was likely supposed to be a short evening out for a Slurpee and a movie with Jenny but he lost control when her hand went on his thigh.

    You should of reported it to your insurance company in case this turns out to be just more than a rim and alignment. You don't have to open a claim just talk to your insurance let them know so it will be ready for you if you need it. Better safe than sorry. Just saying/.

    The mere act of calling your insurance company to discuss an accident, even if you don’t file a claim, can potentially cause premiums to rise. OP should only call if the repair will be pricey and he wants to file a claim. Besides, a claim of this nature won’t take long to file. 10-minute phone call.

    Yes,I agree but also if he holds too long and it turns out to be a costly repair bill then the insurance will want to know when it happened was there any cops involved etc etc if he ain't prepared just saying he might not covered. I have contacted my insurance once for a minor accident just to let them know that it happened and to have a claim ready just in case. He said ok let me know what happens and that was it. I never put the claim as we settled but I was ready just in case.

    It may just be a LCA eccentric bolt out of it’s happy place. If you have alignment marks on your lower control arms, I would check them all and see if any of them are off. That’s probably best case scenario, just need it realigned, as others have said. Worst case is you’ll have to fake your own death and move to Tibet to prevent further shaming. Welcome to TW.

    100% this. First find out cost. When you call in it is on your policy. Depending on the insurance company and their underwriting guidelines you may be hit with a chargeable loss regardless if you get paid or not.

    I have had people call in a loss months later after the accident happened. As long as the policy is in force with no lapse and there is no fraud it is covered.
