Hit a pothole and now my truck is sitting on the front tire

    Guys I hit a pothole while driving it made a loud noise and now my trucks sitting on the front driver side tire i don't know what broke or what happened can anyone help me out on figuring out what's broken while I wait for the tow truck?

    Prolly broke a strut, Spring, or Both.... If it hit real hard it prolly bent the control arm also..

    I crawled under real quick and the only out of place thing I see is the UCA bent upwards would that do it?

    After you get your trucked towed some where, check your city government website for info on damage repayment. My city will reimburse you for tires and suspension parts damaged by pot holes. Make sure you note your location well in case the want verify.

    Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.

    OP based on your assessment I'm thinking you sheered the whole arm off you're gonna have to buy a new one. Or maybe you just popped the tire...



    But I dunno, a picture may help this be more accurate.

    I'm just trying to think what would allow the tire to move up that far. The lower control arm would limit that much vertical movement I'd think wouldn't it?

    Broken strut still a possibility.

    I think he's probably just sitting at full stuff and it looks like he's "sitting on the tire".
