    Call me niave...

How fast were you going and how big was that pot hole?

Gotta be another reason for that happening?

From the photos, the bumpstop extension blocks that came with your 6" lift weren't long enough, so all the compression forces went through the shock instead of through the bumpstop. When you get Kings/Icons, also look into longer urethane bumpstops, example: Additional spacers:

45 and didn't see the pothole and yes 6 inch lift at first I thought it might have been the spacer that broke or something with the lift but it's all fine.

OP writes in run-on sentences without proper syntax grammar or punctuation that makes it hard to understand so I don't think that anyone can be of help here until the grammar improves which makes this all very very very frustrating so I'm going to find another thread and finish my beer elsewhere.

Well technically it was your lift that caused the damage.

It okay OP, I understood what you were saying.

I'm sorry this happened to you. Pot holes are evil little buggers.

Good luck and Godspeed on your tacos recovery.

Good Lared that musta been a nasty deep pot hole to do that at 45mph!

Busting the Bilstein and the Sway Bar hook up? That's some serious impact.
