Last summer my 2010 gets totaled outside my house.

So I get a new 2011 truck to replace it. And I move to a house off the main street with a nice wide ally to park in (ally leads to the back of a couple appartment complexs). Thought it should be nice and safe...

Saw this this morning after I got to work. Wasn't there as of 6pm last night. Must have been a neighbor, so now I'll have to snoop around and look for other damage. Haven't talked to insurance just yet; not sure I have the patience for it at the moment.

Is it too much to ask to be able to enjoy my truck for even a single fucking year...

That sucks, but that dent should pop right out. Reach under the wheel well trim, and puch it out.

I would be looking for another truck (rear bumper,) or a car (mirror,) or a blonde, female neighbor, 18-35.

It looks like they hit the flare at the right point, that it bent out of the way. Are there any creases in the dent? If not, get a hair dryer and some canned air, it will pop right out.

It doesn't show in the pictures, but the paint on the flare is fucked too.

Was your wheel turned like that when they hit your truck? It kind looks like they would have to hit the wheel too to hit your truck.

Yeah, there's no damage to the wheel that I can see. And I didn't feel anything on the morning commute.

I am 90% certain, someone was backing up and scraped their mirror against your fender. I am betting it is one of your neighbors or some random person doing a 3 point turn near your truck.

It was probably just an accident. It's tough these days trying to drive while texting and eating lunch - especially when your bottle opener falls on the floor.

Sorry man. I feel your loss.

Right there with you. Had my a truck a month when I was rearended at a light by a drunk illegal alien. It's been hit twice since, though very minor (just a couple scrapes/scratches).

Next damage to the front or rear is buying me steel plate bumpers.
