I was involved in a hit and run on the I-17 northbound in black canyon city area at about 7:30 pm. I was in a Honda odyssey and the guy that hit me turned from the left lane into the right lane where I was. My van was immobilized and was eventually pulled to the shoulder by a state trooper. The guy that hit me was in a 4 door dark colored sedan. I didn’t get any of their info (plate, specific car details) and they took off from the scene.

I know this is probably a long shot but if anyone has any info on this driver I would appreciate it. Their car would have damage on the driver side somewhere near the middle of their car to the rear quarter panel area.

Luckily no one was injured but my van took a beating.

    Thanks in advance!

Sorry to hear about this happening. Sadly it is becoming the norm here in AZ.

Sorry to hear about that friend. The driving around Phoenix has gotten truly dangerous in the last 3 years.

I’ve been in Prescott since 2015 and I completely agree, driving to and around phx metro area has definitely become an adventure every time I go there.

I hate that you’re right. Too many shit heads these days. I think we need a purge.

I can’t be too angry. Everyone was ok, no other vehicles involved, and my only real loss is a deductible. We have 2 other vehicles so it’s not a big inconvenience… I just hate being screwed over by degenerates.

^At the very least install a dash cam in all your vehicles.

I had a dash cam in the family hauler for the longest time and the mount broke a few months back. Go figure. However, I don’t think the camera would have captured the other drivers plate because it was dark and raining. Unless there’s a high end dash cam, most of them don’t have good enough resolution to get plate numbers anyways. Add the darkness and glare of wet windshield/rain, I’d be surprised if a plate number would have been caught anyways.
