    I was in the office of eye doctor and while waiting on my results, a nurse stuck her head in and asked what kind of vehicle i drove. My heart sunk as i walked outside to see my drivers side tail light all over the parking lot. The knucklehead hit my truck and just drove off. Its not 2 bad, just the light, slight crease in the sheet metal and a scratch in the plastic chrome bumper. I an more mad at the drive off than the 258 dollars the dealer wants for new one.     That's rough, Sorry this happened to you! A couple years ago I saw some jackass in a Ram 1500 pull out of a parking spot and take the bumper off of the car next to him. Didn't even try to stop and see what was hanging him up, just gave it more gas and tore the thing up then promptly took off. People suck.

    Not worth the deductible I'm guessing and not worth paying dealer prices. Everything there is available online cheaper and a DIY fix, chrome bumper swap and all.

    Being it looks like a tall vehicle hit you, and the time of the year, I'd bet it was a delivery vehicle that did it.

    I'm hoping for you that the video shows who and enough info to prove who did it.
    Hit-and-run drivers are the lowest of creatures.

    Ha! I was thinking the same thing, someone who just got dilated and tried to drive right afterwards, and yes, it sucks being hit like that. My first was a full rear bumper replacement that happened when someone backed into my truck…with 20 day plates still on it.

    They are looking at the security cams to see if it caught the vehicle and the driver otherwise i am stuck paying for it myself. Dealer wants 258 and my deductible is 250, so i wont be making a claim.

    I am a little pee-ooed not so much for the accident but the driving off and not leaving contact info. My friend at work got hit by a no dl and no insurance and undocumented status and it totaled his chevy 4x4 silverado, do i guess i am lucky

    I had my car damaged for $$$$ and the police came because she hit me but couldn’t run since her car was on my car and couldn’t be driven away. She was a us citizen, had no insurance and suspended license. I had to pay for the repair of my car. I asked if she was going to be arrested,.. no.. she gave a bad address so I had no recourse. I paid
