Every day is a new opportunity to be disappointed in people not taking responsibility for their action. Never fails!

Sorry to hear about that. A$$hole driver.

Fairhope is very pretty, although I understand they are building all over the town.

Eastern Shore Toyota sucks based on the experience my son had with them when they did a frame swap under the recall. He had a better time at Pine Hill.

Eastern shore Toyota is where i got the truck, and have had no problems with their service, but i have had no warranty claims either, thanks for the heads up.

I had the same thing happen to me. Found yesterday in apt parking lot, pretty I know who did it (had red paint scrapes and suspiciously parked in another part of the complex). Police took report today and will try to get security camera footage from the complex.

Anyone have leads on a color-matched replacement?

If it’s not dented, just a scratch, you could just pop the bumper caps off and plasti dip them black. Maybe do the emblems while you’re at it if you want to match. You probably won’t notice the scratches anymore.

Dang. Seems to be hit and run season. I got hooked up in the parking while getting a hair cut.

In other news I have a left tail light from a 22 TRDOR if your interested.

Before I retired I took pride finding hit and run drivers and traveled to the end of the rainbow to help the people involved. Dealt with plenty in my 23 yrs believe me and took pride in doing it. Honestly the 2 things I despised were people who hit and run others (99.9% of the time license suspended and 85-90% undocumented/unlicensed) and people who drove in the BDL. Absolutely no reason for either one to happen but some BDL reasons were tolerated. Hope the OP gets some good news on the video and I'm sorry I'm not there to help. Enjoy your day.

Probably. If that's the one in Mobile itself.

To be fair Eastern Shore had no clue about the frame recall because the Southeast wasn't included in that. My son had an electrical problem and after he and I spent some time trying to figure it out he brought it to Eastern Shore. The tech who looked at the problem decided that it was due to a bad ground on the frame, which had a lot of corrosion because it was originally a MA truck and then spent time in NJ when my son lived there. As it happened, the tech had written some notes on the back of the print out for the service call. My son saw that, took a picture, and then filed a claim. Since the truck still had NJ plates on it the claim was honored after some back and forth between him, the dealer, and corporate.

Still, the work was poorly done with the bed mounted with a tit to the left, the dealer refused to honor the Toyota recall that said that any new suspension parts that my son bought would be installed as part of the recall, they gave him crap about the rear spring recall, etc... He filed a claim with corporate and after some back and forth they had him bring it to Spring Hill where all of the bad work was corrected.

I think either the Service Manager or the General Manager ended up losing his job over the incident.

That was back in 2015-16, so things might be better now.

Trying to help him sort out the electrical issues is what got me on Tacomaworld in the first place and the reason for my user name. He'd started a thread on the electrical problems and I joined to add some comments. The members here were very helpful and when I got my Tacoma in 2020 one of the first things I did was jump back in.

Of course that cost me a few thousand dollars as I found more and more "must have" add ons. ;)
