Just saw this article in the local paper, looks like there will be some new changes at Azusa Canyon...not sure if this is good or bad since this place is already crawling with rangers, and law enforcement

"a new obstacle course and all-terrain vehicle training area in San Gabriel Canyon. The proposed obstacle course and upgraded training area, which was recently approved by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, is slated to be built by September within the San Gabriel Canyon Off-Highway Vehicle Area, which OHV riders have been using since the 1970s. The development of the course and new training area is a joint project between the California Trail Users Coalition, the Forest Service, L.A. County Department of Parks and Recreation and the Azusa Canyon Off Road Association. It is being funded with monies the county receives from the California Parks Off-Highway Vehicle Division.
"It will keep people away from unauthorized areas and allow another amenity at an existing off-highway vehicle site," said Robert Ettleman, a park planner in the planning and trails section of the county's Department of Parks and Recreation Department. "It's a real positive amenity, especially the training, which is so important for adults and youth."
