    just got it.
So I got my 2005 PreRunner TRD with the sport 2 package and upgraded sound system in the 4 door from a retired colonel in the U.S. Air Force which I happen to work for, for 16,675 but cause I paid cash(thanks Bomb Squad reenlistment money) he put it was 4500 on the title and I only paid 335 in taxes. Anywho, I get it home last night at 8:30 and I park it in the back of my lot at my Apt, and when I get home early from work at 3 so I can go get plates for it and I see someone, with some vigor, backed into the bumper leaving a baseball sized dent all the way to the left side of it and bent it a little.

No, it happened while I was at work and its a rather small lot with only 15 or so cars but I haven't seen any with silver paint on them yet.

I was at work and didnt see it till they were gone. It could have happened anytime from 6:45am to about 2:30 P.M. when my girlfriend saw it in the back of the lot.

It's easy... people don't pay attention and/or just don't care, especially if it's a POS vehicle. They drive the big trucks/SUV's and think they own the road and to he!! with everyone else. It doesn't take mutch to dent these bumpers.

SPJ - Sorry about your "new" truck. Hope you can find the dirt bag and get them to fork over $$ to get it fixed.

see from above you can see the angle of the plasit to see how far it bent back, the bumper scratched the bed with how far it bent in.

I've been hit twice - not in my tacoma (thank goodness) by people who drove big cars and did that kind of damage and got out and asked (when confronted because they were seen doing the damage) "did I do that? Are you sure it wasn't already there?"
