I feel your pain OP. I hit a buck with my brand new Tundra a few years back. No structural or mechanical damage, but the front end got whacked pretty good. Paid for a nice new bumper though. Buck flew over the top of my truck Rudolph style. My wife was driving behind me and saw it happen. Lucky he didn't ram into/through the windshield.

I had ARB bumper on my 2008 FJ. Looked good on that vehicle. I am not sure what I am going to do on this one. Will get some type of heavy-duty bumper. In the meantime I drive with a lot of caution here in Colorado. Especially the 3 miles heading out to the house. The road is like a roller coaster and there is a large heard of elk that live on ranches on either side of that road.

Unbelievably, with $17,000 damage it got up and jump the fence. In Colorado you get to keep the meat but it made it out into the Forest

Upgraded to be premium with leather interior. Lost the cubby behind passenger rear seat too. Did not realize the cubby hole behind the back seat would be replaced with a subwoffer. Oh well, wanted seat warmmers
