Hit pothole. Steering wheel not straight

    thank you! The rear cam bolt on the passenger side was way out of wack. I got it back to where it was marked and the truck is mostly good. While doing all the tread searching i stumbled upon diy alignment which I will try tomorrow. I did the string method for the toe and it worked great. Prior to pothole steering wheel was way off, now its dead money center and will go straight without assist. Tomorrow Im going to follow the diy thread and do the camber, castor, then string method again to make sure toe is still good. Thank you!

    FWIW my rack shifts once in a while with a big hit on one wheel. I have torqued (over torqued) the rack bolts but to no avail I still get an occasional shift. This only started happening after I replace the stock rubber mounts with Urethane mounts. Turns out rubber can absorb energy from a sharp impact before transferring energy to the next weakest link better than Urethane! The fix is easy enough to do with a simple equal left/right toe adjustment to ensure the overall toe in not affected.
