Hitch arm on bike rack won’t fit

    Anyone know what the heck this is? The hitch arm for my bike rack has to go in another inch or so for the holes to line up but that piece of steel is stopping it. Is that supposed to be there or did the weld bubble up?? See picture

    That's really odd. My racks can go all the way through the hitch. I don't think that's supposed to be there.

    Just looked at my 2020 and it’s flat on the inside as shown.

    Id say, if you’d wish, maybe take a metal file and smooth it out.

    can you see anything from the underside that may have caused that ‘bubble’

    I agree about checking the underside. It sorta' looks like an anti rattle device.

    Nope it was new. Gonna have to hit it with a sawzaw, chisel, or file. Pain in the ass. I tried a demo hammer and it did nothing
