Just wondering what TW thinks of this setup? I've never used the hitch to carry anything before. I was thinking of this setup when I go camping. So the bed will be full and my rack and tent will be on.

This was just setup to see if it would work and how it would attach. Didn't even leave my driveway with it. I have a 2" drop adapter that's rated for 7500lbs (had to use this so the swing out could clear) and a 1Up Super Duty bike rack that weighs 28lbs. On the rack I want to put my Ebike. That weigh's about 110lbs. If I take the battery out, like I did in the pics, it drops to about 75-80lbs.

Just looking at it I'm not feeling comfortable, ha. But I have no experience trying to carry a bike like this. For those with dirt bikes, how do you guys haul them?

I wouldn't even think twice about it for a hundred lbs.
I have run both a two bike rack (70 lb in bikes) and a four bike rack (150 lbs) with zero concern.
Hitch is rated for 700 lbs or so pushing shear so no worries

I drove through 5 states with a full bed and 2 mountain bikes hanging off the hitch never had an issue, take my info for what it’s worth.

That is a Surron X or Surron Light Bee or Surron Light Bee X. So many names for it. ha. I got mine from here: https://shockbikes.com/surron-light-bee-x/

25-50 miles on one charge depending on riding style and the thing will do at least 47 mph. I get about 90 minutes out of a ride and about 80-85% of the battery.

I wouldn't be worried about the bike as the carrier looks to be a solid design, but the open tailgate is way to close for my liking. It doesn't look it from the pics but can you lower the carrier a little bit or maybe extend it out a few inches?

Those pics are with the carrier lowered. It's a bit too close for my liking too. If I do use this setup, I'd probably throw something in between for some protection.

The bike you have on the hitch sent me down a long rabbit hole and nearly cost me $4k lol

I carry my 300lb dirtbike often on the hitch. I usually throw a handful of tie downs on it to keep things stable. Like 2 or 3 on the rack itself to the bike, then another couple to the truck bed (actually a rack) to keep it from bouncing around too much.

    It hasnt fallen off yet.

Trailering is easier, but you have to stay under 55 mph here with a trailer. 70mph without.
