The pin that comes from toyota is a bit thicker than the 5/8 that are being sold. I bought a couple of them and they all fit with a wobble which is annoying

Just fwiw if you want a locking pin and anti-rattle I got this one and it works on the 24 and on my other vehicles. Yes I know how pricey it is. Have used the shorter length version of this one for years with no issues.

Just a note the protective 'sleeve' does not fit through the hitch. I use it without that piece and its fine. Might just be operator error on my part as to why it won't work.

On Amazon, in the link you provided, there are three different sizes. Which one did you buy that’s installed on your truck?

    thanks!!!

¿Has solucionado el problema? No he podido. No encuentro ninguno. Fui a AutoZone y O'Reilly's de la zona y no tenían nada.

My tractor supply had multiple brands of 4" locking pins on the shelf.

The new 4th Generation Tacoma has a redesigned hitch system, very different from the 3rd Generation, and the pin lock needs to be a bit longer. I had this issue for a few days and tried several pins from local stores, but none were long enough or had a lock. Then I found this option here on Amazon, and I’m happy with it!
