I need to get a receiver and was wondering how much drop you got, if any, on your hitch? Mine will be on a 2012 prerunner sport.

It all depends on what you're hauling. Some trailers have small tires where the trailer will sit lower then a trailer with full size tires.. I have a 5x12 atv trailer, med size tires and I'm using a 4" drop and the trailer sits level...

Thanks, good to know as most of my towing will be mid to full size trailers with 15 to 17 inch wheels.

A little of this and a little of that.
4" drop works good for my 6X12 trailer with 15" wheels. Nice and level.

Glad to hear 4"s pleases you :)

I have TSB rear leafs and 3/4" taller tires on my truck. With a 20ft boat it put my level with a 2" drop.

    Trailer had 15" wheels.

It is really hard to go by what others will tell you without knowing the rear spring setup and tire size they are running since there is such a variance on this site.

Thanks. I hear yea. I'm looking for general feedback. I don't pull anything right now. Just looking for some feedback as to the best drop that would work on most trailers.
