I priced them awhile back and found the JC WHITNEY;Curt to be best deal for me..UNTIL A former Taco owner hit CL with one;):D...pulled it off before they "Junked" it and would not fit his new Tundra ......

U-Haul was local BUT they were $50-60 more for the whole kit ( wire harness included )

You can sometimes find a sale at etrailers. Right now they are running free shipping on orders over $150. ( http://www.etrailer.com/hitch-2008_Toyota_Tacoma.htm ) 2008 Tacoma hitches are running 149.95 to 202.95 The wiring kit is around $40 and the the draw bar is around $15. I ordered a hitch from them about a year ago and fairly fast shipping with them.

Just got my hidden hitch from JC Whitney. Google coupons and I found one for 20% off and free shipping. Hidden hitch is really nice and does exactly as the title says. You don't see the crossbeam with "U-Haul" plastered on it. Got mine for $130shipped.
