Been a Nissan owner since the late 70s and now I have my new Tacoma. Had my 99 Frontier since 1999. It was old and getting to be a bit "expensive" to run. Checking around I found the new Frontiers weren't getting very good reviews so I read up on the Tacoma and made the switch.

Ordered my new Tacoma with all the "bells and whistles," got a good deal and have been extremely happy with it so far. I can't believe how much larger this truck is compared to my old Frontier. It's taking a bit of getting used to, especially parking it in the garage. I've only got maybe a foot or two to spare!

I've only got 1600 or so miles on it so far, don't really do too much driving, but I'm thoroughly convinced I've made the right decision. My only problem is all these electronic goodies, buttons and knobs. Being an "old fart" it's got me amazed at what this truck can and does do. When they handed me the owner's manual I almost fell over! How many pages and books are in there!? I confess this is the very first vehicle I have ever owned that I HAVE to read the owners manual, and I'm still confused! That 7 inch screen in the dash and all the things it's supposed to do, that I haven't figured out yet, just amazes me. Especially when I get a text message and it'll read it to me!? :yay:

Performance, handling and the smooth ride make me call the Tacoma my "Country Cadillac." I'd better shut up now or I'll just go on and on about how great this truck is.
