It's gonna get worse before it gets better.

Nikkei is down and falling. If Hong Kong and China open red it's gonna be game over for tomorrow.

Bingo. A line of credit is essentially a put position on cash. I'm happy to short it now and buy it back in 10 years :)

Exactly. Even more so if you locked in at the lows, which I'm pretty sure you did, of those next 10 years. lol

    It's a HELOC so it's adjustable rate, FFR + 2.75%.

I am not worried. The FFR is not going to 9.25 and my annualized average is 12%. As long as we stay below 9.25, this thing pays its own interest every year with the white meat left over for me.

But the 2.75% is locked, isn't it?

Correct, that's the base premium the CU applies to all the credit they extend.

Thats true of a lot of places - which is why so many people refi'd at a 2.75% over the past 2 years while the FFR was 0.

I didnt want to deal with all the closing bullshit of a cash out home equity loan, and wanted the flexibility of a HELOC. The adjustable rate is the devil on the other side of that deal.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
This is plain labor. No real skills needed. If you can write your name and move a box, you'd get hired. Minimum wage here is still $12 here but they would start at at least $17.

    2" suspension lift/wheel spacers.
    Oils down too.
I'm not gonna get my hopes up just yet though.
I had the $80 calls on Thursday, going with what I knew, ie that its to obvious of a short, and I closed those damn things at a slight loss when it looked like it was gonna drop as it it broke thru $79.80.
I bought the puts when it was $82 and change.
Like I said, I'm not gonna get my hopes up too high on this one, but part of me also says that was a short squeeze on Friday's close. If it was a regular stock of a company, I'd say 100% that was a squeeze before the drop, but everyone out there is bullish still. That said, the open interest on P/C ratio is like 1.5 I think. I don't have my software open to check, but even that doesn't really mean too much. The big money could be selling those puts to bag the premium.

Looks like its down 1.5% atm.
What time is it in Russia? I'll look.
    4:20AM.
Too soon to say Putin didn't do anything on V-Day or whatever they call it.
I wonder what's behind the drop.

My thoughts are it’ll probably get lost in the shuffle and do nothing. But that’s just my pessimistic realism :D

Realistically, it won't really go until after the Ex-Div date. It's gonna be an interesting few weeks. If the markets keep falling and BBIG can hold or make gains I think the FOMO will be ripe. Can't wait to see PM volume tomorrow as that should give an indication of the potential volatility for the day.
