There may be more ups and downs and buying opportunities between here and ATH, but June was the bottom. Which really shouldn't be surprising. Peeling 25% off the S+P and 30% off the NASDAQ are rare occurrences and consistent with typical downturn events historically.

 

classic downturn. everyone screaming down turn into the rear view mirror.

I just got a call from the head of the building dept. Finally. Seems like interviews are set for the 9th. He seemed very stoked to interview me. So much so that he said if the 9th didn't work for me we could schedule it whenever I wanted. lol

 

Roth play account- sold F at a little profit when it didn’t seem to be going anywhere, bought Home Depot and Lowes hardware as they were rising and promptly bottom dropped on both losing me a thousand or so. Sold and bought F again 5/13 at 13.60 based on sales of F150 lightning and even hotter sales of the new Maverick, Up 19% since I bought and now my Roth is at a new ATH.
Wish I could say the same about my IRA but it’s improving with the market at least.

 

I bought 10 F calls on 7/20, up 320%. Are we taking profits yet or is it going higher? I’ve never bought traded F before

 

I sold too soon last time, I see this as $20+ stock and willing to hold a year or two this time. If you’re holding for a shorter term I have no idea but you’re looking good for now lol.

 

I’ve got until January

 

And I'm not sorry. What I bought back into with that ex-gold has done its job so far

(I'll be rebalancing back into a gold allocation once we return to ATH, but I always go 100% stock/REIT any time the market dips 20% or more and stay there until return to ATH)
