closed all remaining puts at 389.5 break, got lucky i locked in profits yesterday
. took $AAPL calls expiry dec. -stop on this is break below 389 on the 15m.

 

$AAPL calls covering for the $SPY puts i left as runners.
not a bad day even though CPI went agsint my trades.
NOTE: on major market events, always remember to trim positions especially if in profits. Why turn a profitable trade into a losing one.

Closed my $AAPL 11/18 $140 calls here. In at $460. Buried for dead. Today saved my $$$. Out at $515. LoL

 

It was solid advice and my response was more of an inside joke since some, ie most, of us are down YTD.

big battle at this level on $SPY, covid trendline and a 4.1 billion dark pool. taking off $AAPL here for a nice profit. will put it back if we have a decisive , clean break to the upside on this level. if it goes down, i've locked in $ for the day and will just wtach and enjoy the fireworks.

Trading != investing, HODL is my move for VTI. I dick around with some trading, but most of my stuff is just sitting in boomer stonks (VTI) long term, don't touch it.

Could have held those $25 covered calls for probably 100% profit..
I need to exit to move to my ROTH IrA by the end of the year...so it's not bad long term but how about some support...every earnings it sells off and then climbs
